Leadership L.A.

Going beyond theory and academics, Leadership L.A. immerses fellows in the issues and assets that are essential to L.A.’s future.Going beyond theory and academics, Leadership L.A. immerses fellows in the issues and assets that are essential to L.A.’s future.

Fellows meet one Friday per month for eight months, engaging in a combination of rich classroom discussion and experiential learning, to explore critical topics all L.A. leaders need to master. Seminar topics include education, workforce development, transportation and trade, law and government, arts and culture, healthcare, business and economics, and natural resources.

Leadership L.A. fellows also engage in personal leadership development including the internal dynamics of leadership, developing their leadership portfolio and a 360 assessment of their leadership style. New to the Leadership L.A. curriculum is a day focused on the how-to’s of civic engagement, including serving on nonprofit boards, government commissions or running for public office.

Tuition for Leadership L.A. is $3,950, which includes full participation in seminars, all materials, meals and ground transportation.
