#GetOutside - Hike In "Malibu" Pacific Palisades Paseo Miramar Hiking Trail

#GetOutside - Hike In "Malibu" Paseo Miramar Hiking Trail

On occasion we feature activities to do outside of the office for those much needed breaks.

This trail is really in Pacific Palisades but the view of the Malibu ocean always commands extra attention ;).

If you are looking for the perfect hike with ocean views, on an overcast day, take advantage of the Paseo Miramar Hiking Trail.

Why the Paseo Miramar Hiking Trail?

Parking: On a weekday you can find parking much closer to the start of the trail (A nearly hidden entrance near the big white house in the culdesac, more directions down below).

There is parking reenforcement (especially on weekends) so do not park in a “No Parking” or “No Stopping Anytime” area, you will get a ticket — I have seen it happen.

The Views:

You can see the ocean specifically Malibu and Santa Monica further south! Choose the “downhill” more brush tunnel like hike or go higher in elevation for wider paths — both have a spectacular ocean view.

Bonus: You might also get a glance at Downtown Los Angeles and Century City depending on where you parked.

Proximity: This hike is located above the Getty Villa and near Malibu to grab a bite to eat.

Photography: Bring your camera, a cell phone works too. You will want to snap a few photos along the way.

Nature: Watch out for the little guys, especially on an overcast day, they like to lay on the hot rocks to keep warm.
